Texmod/Cartography Collection not working since Derv update?
Does anyone have a working version of Texmod/Cartography Collection since the Dervish update? I wanted to finish getting Legendary Grand Master Cartographer and I loaded it up as usual and none of my textures changed.
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Works for me as well. However, there were times when it and other textmods do not start on first try. Usually, logging out and in again does the trick to turn them back on.

You need to make sure the client is fully updated. Try running with -image. That should fix the problem.

Also, if you have more than one account and run any kind of multiple launch program makes sure you have run and updated all instances of GW on your system before launching with texmod. (at least that usually fixes it for me)

The actual problem was how multilaunch progs worked - remember they change the gw flag and depending which gw is run first ( account a or account b ) it sets that location in registry.I think if you normally use account a and the program sets the flag for account b - texmod looks in the original folder its set with and the registry tells it wrong place. The way i fixed it - first i selected kill mutex on multi launch , i went into both gw folders ( original and clone ) and ran -image to update fully , then i ran account b and set path and then ran account a and set path.I always before closing multilaunch hit kill mutex and reset path for account a.After i did this first time texmod worked with no problems. If your using normal gw and no multi account progs then i have no idea . |

You may notice that whenever Guild Wars updates itself, it downloads loads a new gw.exe and restarts itself. This restarted gw.exe is not running under the control of texmod, only the old one that was active when you clicked the "run" button in texmod. So simply close that new version after it has updated itself (wait until the login screen appears) and start it again via texmod.
